|Naked oats can represent a partial substitute
for traditional cereals, the acreage of which tends to decrease due to excess production
or lower efficiency under ecological agriculture. The significance of cereal products has
been growing and the range of use of products made of naked oats in this country, as well
as the export potential, have increased. The naked oats varieties of Czech origin are of
world top standard in terms of yield, health conditions and grain quality, (low hull
content, high protein values).
This contribution evaluates standardized and further
significant quality parameters of naked oats, (volume weight, size classification, TGW,
black grain content, huskiness) as well as the chemical composition of naked oats grains
(nitrogen substances, aminoacids, fat, higher fatty acids, roughage, minerals).
